how can i purchase your work?
i sell online and at art shows throughout the year in madison, wi. i try to have updates on a quarterly basis once i have built up enough inventory with a variety of colors, sizes, and designs.
i don’t see anything on your website to purchase… how can i order?
hang tight! we must be between “cycles” and there should be some coming soon. see the “when is the next update?” question below.
when is your next update?
i try to update every couple of months, but sometimes life gets in the way. the best way to stay informed of what is going on in the studio is to follow me on instagram (@jacobhalepottery). i also try to add countdowns in my story highlights, which you can use to set notification reminders.
when will you have a pot i saw on instagram again?
i am proud of the variety of pots i create with differences in color, expression, size, and style. this also means i might not have every design in every color and size available at once. i try my best to offer a variety with each update, and there are a lot of factors that influence what i make in a cycle. i might not sell same piece twice.
how much do your pots cost?
the average price is around $35-40 and most of my ceramics run between $35-75, with a flat $10 US shipping rate plus $5 for each item in the order.
Do your pots have drainage holes?
all my planters have drainage holes unless otherwise noted.
do you offer international shipping?
i currently do not ship internationally.
do you take custom orders/commissions?
i can only accept a small number of commissions at this time. as a one-person business, i can only produce a limited number of pots and don’t want to keep my customers waiting. if you are interested, please reach out and we’ll see what we can work out!
do you accept returns?
it depends on the circumstances. ceramics are fragile and need to be packed carefully to make it through the postal system. if you have concerns about your order or are not completely satisfied, please let me know as i want you to be happy! if you place an order and change your mind before it has been shipped, i can cancel it and give a refund, but i try to ship out packages within a few business days depending on the number of orders i have.
what do I do if my order is damaged during shipment?
if you open your package only to find a damaged pot, please let me know as soon as possible and include photos of the box and item. i can offer a refund or a replacement with a similar piece. if you would like a replacement, it may take up to a few weeks to produce.
are your pots food-safe?
yes! every piece is made with lead-free glazes and are both microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
